| History of Iota Nu | |
| The Iota Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was founded on December 9, 1978. Our chapter maintains strong programs of professional, community service and fundraising activities. Some of the biggest activities we hold each year include guest speakers, professional tours, and sponsoring an annual 5K run/walk for cystic fibrosis. Our most important fundraising effort is managing the university's concessions at all University sponsored sporting events. In addition to this professional side of the fraternity, our chapter likes to participate in many social activities. We participate in intramurals on campus, hold an annual Rose Formal in the spring, are involved in Homecoming, a fall Philanthropy Formal, and have several themed parties throughout the year. The Iota Nu Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at Truman is proud to state that it was named Most Outstanding Chapter in the Nation in 1980-81, 1985-86, 1986-87, 1988-89, 1989-90, 1990-91, 1993-94, 1998-99. |
