Iota who???? IOTA NUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!

Hello all you fantastic Iota Nu’s out there! This is the official “Get-Pumped” campaign for the 2007 Grand Chapter Congress in Orlando, Florida – a Celebration 100 Years in the Making!

For those of you reading this who do not know me, as hard to believe as that is, let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Stacey Berger, and along with my partners in crime, Amanda Romine and Bob Ready, I am organizing this drive to get as many as many Iota Nu Brothers down to sunny Orlando for our Fraternity’s Centennial Celebration in August. Throughout me college career, I held three positions with the Fraternity: President, VP of Concessions, and Assistant Concessions Manager, not in that order. In 2006, I was elected as the South Central Province’s Collegian of the Year (an honor both my colleague, Amanda, and Ryan Saffer, the current Iota Nu President, have shared…three years in a row!). We have all been to tons of national event, so when I make some bold statements like I do in a few sentences, I know what I am talking about!

During my involvement in Delta Sigma Pi, I have made an invaluable number of life long connections and friendships with my brothers from all over the country, but especially at good old Truman State. I would not be the person I am today without this wonderful Fraternity and the amazing people in it, including you! Whether we have met or not, whether we hang out or not, you are my BROTHER and the impact you have had on the Fraternity has impacted me. As such, I want you there in Orlando with me this summer to celebrate this monumental occasion in our Fraternity’s history!

Which brings us to my point. I am writing you now to SELL you on an event that WILL impact your life…Grand Chapter Congress 2007. I can guarantee that if you come to Grand Chapter Congress this year, you will become a better brother, better fraternity leader, and better person for it! I know, quite a lofty statement. However, I have not known one person yet, who has come away from a GCC experience and not been changed by it. For me, GCC 2003 in Palm Springs opened my eyes to all that I had to offer the Chapter and the Fraternity and helped me understand just what Delta Sigma Pi was all about. It is difficult to wrap your brain around just how pervasive and inspiring an effect that fraternity can have on you until you leave your sheltered Deltasig existence in Kirksville, Missouri. It’s hard to understand just how good we got it there at Iota Nu until you see just what everyone else has to offer (and they have to offer a lot). I kid you not when I say that we have been, consistently, one of the most outstanding chapters in the country since our installation in 1978. That is almost 30 years of greatness! Now imagine being able to share that greatness with over 2,000 other people across the country that are just dying to know more about what we do and how we do it! There is nothing better than walking into a room filled with hundreds of people you have never met, but feeling an instant connection and kinship with them all the same. It’s a feeling I hope all of you can experience!

As if the opportunity to make life-long friends and to learn more about yourself and what you have to offer to the fraternity and your fellow man was not enough, let me sweeten the deal… For every collegiate brother that attends GCC this August, I will donate $20 a person to the Iota Nu GCC Fund! Consider it a night’s stay in the hotel…on me! That is how much I want you to come!!!

So register online, gather your roommates, book a room, get on a plane, and fly to sunny Orlando where 2,000 brothers are waiting for you! Please, don’t miss the opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of a rich and respected history 100 years in the making! I know you’ll regret it if you do!
